Logic Makes No Sense

Congratulations, you finally killed Adult programming on Broadcast television. Thank you for so adamantly embarrassing the modern equivalent to the Romans throwing Christians to the lions. Come January and next fall when new shows start airing, a lot of your old favorites wont be there. NBC’s new line up will consists mainly of reality shows from 8-9pm and Jay Leno taking over the 10pm slot (Monday thru Friday). Most likely all those shows that used to take up those two prime hours a night will be cancelled. A lucky few shows will probably be moved over to one of the many NBC cable channels. I’m sure the other Broadcast companies will soon follow suit once they see the cost savings. Free TV will officially be half-dead in time for that fresh new analog to digital transfer come February.

Kids today take cable for granted forgetting mommy or daddy has to pay over $100 a month for the idiot boxes signal. Then you’ll have those who’ll say: who cares I watch all my shows on the Internet anyway? Well think about this, with the way our economy is headed and god forbid you lose your income and bills start piling up – The choice is gonna come: Do I pay for the house and electricity or cable and Internet? So what will the average family do for entertainment? Go to the movies? Nope that’s probably gonna cost 50 bucks before you get to buy popcorn. Go to a ballgame? yeah right. Guess we’ll have to start reading again but soon chopping down trees will be outlawed and you’ll have to shell out $400 bucks for your new Amazon Kindle or Sony ebook reader.
