Logic Makes No Sense

Are you telling me no one over at Apple saw this IPAD sketch from Mad TV?

Yeah the new device will probably sell millions and I’d love one as a gift but if you already have an Ipod touch or netbook, what’s the point? And Apple really needs to stop the whole “it’s the best way to experience the web” Bullshit! How is it the best internet experience if you can’t access videos or flash content which makes up about 75 percent of the internet…it’s just another device to push your “istores”. That’s another thing, why can’t you just buy something without having to sign up for data plans, subscription fees, rentals etc…After you spend $500 for the base model you then have to shell out another $500 for music, movies, apps etc to get some decent usage out of it.

ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

Ok so even though Apple can’t get it through their thick heads that a smartphone should be able to cut and paste, should have real GPS and the camera should take video (no iFans, I’m not Scorcese but even my toaster has a video camera these days!) I have to admit the apps for the iPhone are pretty cool. Today I was reading King Lear in the Shakespear app, I read USA today not because the paper doesn’t suck but the app is great! (hey NY Times and Rolling Stone, I’d pay for an app like that from you). I can even tell you if your kitchen counter is level with my phone, try that blackberry! So with all these cools apps my dumb self never thought to look for a blog app for WordPress, well thanks for recommending it Bill, here’s the first of many blogs from my iPhone. Of coursevif the Internet on this thing worked like the version in the commercials I guess I wouldn’t need it. But hey still pretty cool. Now I’m off to down load that 4 track recorder app!
