Pat Robertson’s Haiti comments

by stone on Jan.14, 2010, under Politics, Rants

Robertson said Wednesday that Haiti has been “cursed” because of what he called a “pact with the devil” in its history. His spokesman said the comments were based on Voodoo rituals carried out before a slave rebellion against French colonists in 1791.

Spokesman Chris Roslan says Robertson never stated that Tuesday’s earthquake was God’s wrath.

Limbaugh also has said, “We already donated to Haiti. It’s called the U.S. income tax.” What does that even mean?

Rush Limbaugh

by stone on Oct.14, 2009, under Politics, Rants

rr

Rush Limbaugh spent time on his show today digging himself out of a

hole he created with his audience. His love for football has exposed

him for who he really is. For 21 years his talk show audience thought

they were listening to a man who is one of them and speaks for them.

WRONG!.. They were supporting a man with enough

money to buy a football team. Rush represents the rich

not the middle class or poor. He wants Obama to fail because most

of Obama’s policies were created to help the middle class and poor through these tough times by taxing the rich. Rush doesn’t want the government to use his money to help the rest of America.

Rush, how did you make all your money?.., by working hard or oppressing

your middle class audience and making them feel like they’re in exile.

Rush and Sean Hannity are so rich they don’t have to pay for social security

or worry about healthcare. Why do they care?

Bring the Pain

by bill on May.16, 2009, under Movies, Music, Politics, Rants

So Cheney’s been everywhere confessing to authorizing torture, tons of witnesses and documents are piling up… How long will take to get to some real convictions? This whole situation just makes me sick to my stomach. I’m sure everyone will end up taking a walk after Congress is done covering up their own asses. I hope the EU steps up and starts putting some real pressure on the US. Does anyone remember the Geneva Convention and Nuremberg trials? probably not

I want to see some indictments for:

1. Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of crime against peace
2. Planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression and other crimes against peace
3. War crimes
4. Crimes against humanity

NYC Fried Chicken Joints Under Fire for Obama Name

by Lucky on Apr.03, 2009, under Just plain silly, Politics

NEW YORK (AP) – Two New York City fried chicken restaurants in predominantly black neighborhoods are under fire for putting President Barack Obama’s name on their signs. I don’t hear any complaints from the compound.  I’m sure Clinton wishes he had his name associated with Fried Chicken.  You never heard anyone complaining that Bush has his name on baked beans….

City Councilman Charles Barron said Friday that he will organize a demonstration next week outside the Obama Fried Chicken in his Brooklyn district if the sign doesn’t change.

Opponents also say they may target Obama Fried Chicken & Pizza in Harlem.

Now before people start getting upset and crying racism, first off, Fried Chicken tastes good, to misquote Dave Chappelle, ” If you don’t like fried chicken there is something wrong with you.”  or something like that, and secondly, the last President to have a chicken joint named after him is Kennedy as far as I know.

Glen Beck WTF!

by bill on Apr.01, 2009, under Politics, Rants

WTF! WTF! WTF! How the hell is this man allowed to be on TV?! I’ve caught his show a few times while surfing the channels. I thought it was a Fox News parody show at first. But then I started seeing other shows comment on this lunatic. He really thinks he’s the guy from the movie “Network”, you know the stick your head out the window and scream “your as mad as hell and not going to take it anymore” guy. So far he’s suggested we start building bomb shelters and stock up survival supplies because the Obama Admin will bring on the Armageddon. He’s had countless crying fits on air like a shameful TV evangelist and now he’s got something called the “912.project” I’ll let Stephen Colbert give you the details. (and how much is he paying crazy ass Chuck Norris to back this crap?)

Seriously, the Government needs to go after Fox News in the same fashion as he FDA categorizes what can be legally called a “juice” or how congress made pro wrestling categorize themselves as entertainment instead of a sport! Because God knows the things I”ve seen on Fox News (sure as hell) can’t be considered NEWS!!!

Broke Ass Cali turns to Pot Dealing

by bill on Mar.13, 2009, under Music, Politics, Uncategorized

As I’ve been saying all along, regulate weed just like Beer and cigarettes…

“Could marijuana be the answer to the economic misery facing California? Democratic state assemblyman Tom Ammiano thinks so. Ammiano introduced legislation last month that would legalize pot and allow the state to regulate and tax its sale – a move that could mean billions of dollars for the cash-strapped state. Pot is, after all, California’s biggest cash crop, responsible for $14 billion a year in sales, dwarfing the state’s second largest agricultural commodity – milk and cream – which brings in $7.3 billion a year, according to the most recent USDA statistics. The state’s tax collectors estimate the bill would bring in about $1.3 billion a year in much needed revenue, offsetting some of the billions of dollars in service cuts and spending reductions outlined in the recently approved state budget.”
